At Aalto University, Product Development Project (PDP) is a year-long
course, where learning projects are carried out by large interdisciplinary
teams (engineering, business, design) in partnership with companies. Teams
go through all steps from exploring the problem until demonstrating a
functional prototype.
Sharium was one the nineteen PDP teams of 2014-2015. The Sharium team
explored car sharing business from a premium car
manufacturer’s viewpoint. As a result they demonstrated improved user
experience in car sharing by introducing new design components for Audi A7.
Max Karjalainen, Peik Lehtonen, Miikka Kitusuo and Emmanuel Sunday,
accompanied with their professor Eetu, were representing Sharium Team and
Aalto University.
