To book an event space, please use the red booking buttons below. For meeting rooms, you can book through the Aalto Space app or Aalto Booking.
Currently, students can book spaces only during our building’s opening hours, which are from 07:45 to 15:30. We’re working on extending these hours, so stay tuned!

Wonderful area to enjoy coffee, have a conversation, or simply do some work on your laptop. Hence the term “kaffe” + “office” = Kafis. Within the space, you can also familiarize yourself with the locations of other Design Factories globally.

Kitchen

This is our cooking and gathering space. The kitchen is fully equipped and features a spacious dining table. There is also a small office-like area adjacent to it. For privacy, acoustic curtains can be deployed around the office space. Please tidy up after yourself and adhere to the guidelines.

DF Labs
Room Number: B134
Location: Floor 1 – Location in Viima
Can not be reserved
This space serves as the home for many of our shops, including ElectroShop, MachineShop, and PrintShop, among others. It features two levels of prototyping areas. Now is the time to accomplish tasks. Get it done here. Also one Aalto computer is located on floor 1 of the Labs area.

Hot Desks

Can not be reserved
Multiple hot desks and sofas on the second floor next to the conference rooms. Lockable storage units are provided in the area. Please limit usage to a maximum of 24 hours. Most desks come with additional monitors for dual displays, fast internet, and USB-C charging if compatible with your laptop. 12 desks can be height-adjusted. Moreover, two Aalto computers are located nearby.

Silencio

Multiple hot desks for quiet work. Tables are height adjustable and have monitors with fast internet and charging via USB-C cable if your computer supports it.
