Creativity and Critical thinking in Engineering Education
This project is part of the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development)Centre for Educational Research and Innovation(CERI) project. We are one of about 70 institutions representing many fields, in addition to engineering, worldwide developing interventions to help students develop creativity and critical thinking skills as part of their education. The project involves defining means to assess these skills, testing interventions, benchmarking different approaches to it as well as compiling a database of resources for all to use. Our approach at Aalto focuses on investigating the impact collaboration with ARTS has on the engineering curriculum at the bachelor level.
