With the rise of design thinking, taking design to a strategic level and creating design-driven companies have become hot topics. However, design work and corporate strategy can come from quite different traditions of working, needing good ways of working to make it work in practice. This session is built around three pioneers of advancing design to the strategic level in diverse fields, with Tuomas Manninen leading over 80 designers at OP Financial, Katarina Segerståhl drawing from her experience from Aava Medical Centre and Tieto, and Jean-Marc Hering reflecting on his experience transitioning from Nokia to a drink company. To keep it active, we’ll also have short table discussions and a Q&A session for all of our keynote speakers. Everyone is welcome to this event.
