Design Factory and its staff are maintaining few of these services in order to assist project’s prototyping, organization and other activities that lead to a successful learning experience.

The number one reason for having all the Priority services is to help students learn better.

Some of our services have evolved from the Staff’s personal need and can be used as a service when a proficient staff member has the free time to complete the given task. It is therefore good to make a clear distinction of two types of services:

• Space reservation
• Machineshop
• Electroshop
• Secondary services
• Vinyl cutting
• Printing
• Equipment loan

For Whom

Our services are provided to students and employes of Aalto University. However our main focus is on Aalto Design Factory students, start-ups and projects. Fees apply depending on user groups.

A general code of conduct is that we will help you if you fit into the following criteria:

• You have course in Aalto Design Factory
• You work in a Reasearch project in Aalto Design Factory
• You work in a Start-Up in Aalto Design Factory
• Your task is possible interesting, educational and challenging for the service providers
